      I wouldn't call the upcoming crop mediocre. They're simply not as good as the Klits. But you make a good point nonetheless. A more open playing field would not only result in better (more competitive) fights between well matched opponents, it might even eliminate fatties like Arreola and Solis and force fighters to train harder and up their game, knowing that if they do that might well be rewarded by becoming the new heavyweight champion of the world.

            I'm not massively sold on Boytsov myself either. But there's no denying he's got a lot of potential and the youth to develop that potential into something tangible. Time will tell.

            Personally though I think Pulev is the better prospect. He's got an arrogance and a swagger to him that I think will stand him in good stead in the big fights. And he's already beaten some pretty decent opposition.
