        From ilocos, most pinoys who went to work in sugar plantations in hawaii are from ilocos like your dad.

        I agree, hawaiian rhymes with visayan. BTW, I've seen donaire speak perfect visaya better than his tagalog. Damn, I thought the dude was a sellout, he hasn't forgotten his native tongue despite his american twang.

                it's so funny when asi taulava was fighting for his pinoynes he presented his supposedly pinay mom but the old woman doesn't have traces of being pinay in her but still the crazy pinoy basketball fans embraced taulava like their own

                  my dad's not ilocano.

                  that's mak's dad. i knew mak was ilocano when he "forgot" his wallet everytime he goes out drinking.
