Why Delahoya/Hopkins made so much money.

How many people here used to have direct tv and had money put on your card? I myself atleast know 30 to 40 people that did. I think this had i great affect on the outcome. How many of you did things differently this time to watch the fight?

DLH/Hopkins made so much money because people LOVE DLH, hell it made $54 million in profit and its not even his #1 selling fight.

dlh is just too good for boxing. imo he's one of those people who got mass appeal because people love to see him box and seem not to get tired of dong so. i think he still got two-years before he finally says quit. it's quite surprising that even when his career on the decline, he's still the best blockbuster ($$$$$$) boxer on the planet!

              Why ?

Because of marketibility . . . sponsors are more than willing to invest . . . people spent their money to see the fight.

And how do they come up with that kind of marketibilty? Through "BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS" . . . they worked hard for it.
