If a fighter get knocked down

and he/she gets up but aren't responsive to the ref, can a ref just grab their gloves and wipe it for them to continue. I thought the fighter have to do it them self to show the ref that they are OK.

The ref has to grab them and wipe them on his shirt...if you don't respond to his command then he may stop it right then and there.

The ref contradicted himself. He told Montiel to walk to him, but Montiel was out of it so he just stood in place, so the ref decided not to enforce his previous ruling by walking up to Montiel and wiping his gloves himself. The ref is an idiot.

the fact that montiel didn't walk foward when the ref told him too should've told the ref to stop the fight.
