Berto is a good fighter. He doesn't need to be protected. He can probably beat any Welterweight thrown at him not named Manny or Mayweather.

Ortiz was a massive Jr. Welterweight. I think 147 is going to be his best weightclass and he might be able to make some noise, but he shouldn't be fighting for a belt in his first fight there.

Mike Jones vs Andre Berto.

Bob Arum wants to do business with Lou Dibella that is why he is calling out Andre's next bout silly. But Arum sees Berto's next match as a name recognition fight against Victor Ortiz. If Berto wins against Ortiz then a match with Mike Jones is good.

If Berto wins against Jones then he will definitely fight Manny Pacquiao next since he has a better name recognition. Dibella better be paying attention to what Arum says.

After 2 rounds I have this fight scored 19-19. I thought Arum did enough in the first round to squeek it out, though a very close round. Dibella did a fine job counter-punching but I thought Bob had more ring generalship and aggression. Round 2, I gotta give to Lou. While Bob did more of the same and Mike Jones did look good in his win, Dibella had some more substance behind his counter-punching. By bringing up the fact that Mayorga is a joke and emphasizing how Arum likes to criticize other promoters when it's to his benefit, I think Lou did enough to win the round.
