Hard to see him as a green fighter after fighting Perez, Vic and now Agebko.

he's only got 21 fights and even though he beat perez (imo) and vic so did agbeko and much more convincingly too

his dominance started to decline when he stepped up in competition, part of it was due to him splitting with nacho too ofcourse

not to mention he's like 25 years old

donaire on the other hand has faced poor opposition after he beat vic and is now steadily fighting better opposition...it hasnt been a gradual process for mares imo and he would benefit from 2 more fights before he unifies with donaire and IF he beats agbeko ofcourse. thats a big if

Nonito would DESTROY HIM right now, Abner wasn't all that impressive against Vic IMO

I think Agbeko is going to destroy the kid personally and that is nothing against Mares but...I just think Nonito, Agbeko and Moreno are better fighters RIGHT NOW but Abner is only 25 so he is still getting better as a fighter so who knows by the time he is 27-28 or in his early 30's like the others, he might be way ahead of all of those fighters, he does have that kind of talent NO DOUBT!

Mares and Moreno are much closer talent wise to Donaire those would be good fights
