FWIW I notice Donaire has been given a lot of props and several knowledgable posters have been taking up for Montiel and Donaire by saying both were elite fighters heading into this bout.

Again, just look at the usernames of those guys calling Montiel a bum.

Those are non boxing fans that don't follow the sport. They look at boxrec and think that it is enough the make a comment. Montiel still is one of the top fighter in the weight class
