Comments Thread For: Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. Vows: "I Will Retire Jorge Arce!"

Top Rank Promotions held a press conference on Saturday to formally announce two of the pay per view televised fights that will open up for the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley mega fight on May 7 at the MGM Grand. Urbano Antillon (28-2) will look to avenge his loss to Humberto Soto (54-7) in the co-featured bout of the evening. The two Mexican fighters engaged in a brutal war in December in a fight that won "Fight of the Year" honors from many publications.

Vasquez just better stay clear of Donaire because Donaire would put him to sleep for a week. Vasquez has too many talented fighters in and near his division. There are 3-4 guys who would stop him.

It's time for Mexicans to surrender and retire from boxing.

El Malo - pretty damn ****** mentioning unproven Sonsona in the same breath as #2PFP fighter Donaire. Vasquez will be put to sleep before he gets anywhere near Donaire's body. Say bye bye to Vasquez if he steps in the ring with Donaire.

Beating Jorge Arce into retirement at this moment of his career is like beating someone like Roy Jones into retirement.

As much as I'd like Jorge Arce to win this fight, I think WV2 wins it. Arce has too many miles on him.
