1. Martinez - His recent activity has him in the top spot IMO. The best KO of the year last year and a great fight against Pavlik before his fight with Williams. If he's successful against Dzinziruk, then he'll only legitamize his spot as the best p4p fighter in the world.
2. Pacquiao - Great accomplishments and very dominant against his opposition but that's the problem I have. His opposition could be better. Margarito, Clottey and now Mosley aren't number #1 p4p options. The only fights - out of his last 6 - that I've been really impressed with has been the Cotto and Hatton fights. Other than that, the Diaz, DLH, Clottey and Margs fight have all been tailor made opponents for him that didn't do much for me.
3. Donaire - Great talent and maybe the best skillset of the 2 above him. Watching him box is a thing of beauty. His domination of Vic, Montiel and Sydorenko have been out of this world sick. The guy has a ring IQ that equals his talent and, right now, might be unmatched. P4P, he'll be number 1 by next year IMO. As long as he stays active and fights elite opposition I don't see why people can't put him at number 1.
4. Not Floyd Mayweather. I'm a huge fan of Floyd, but he's inactive and it's really irritating watching talent go to waste like that. This reminds me of A Bronx Tale where one of the things Calogero's dad tells him is "one of the saddest things in life is Wasted Talent." This is what Floyd's doing with his inactivity. Damn shame too
Arrange the following 4 P4P. Floyd Mayweather, Sergio Martinez, Nonito Donaire, and Manny Pacquiao.
Please say why and serious discussion only, I don't want none of that Pacquiao PED talks and Mayweather momma beating shit in my thread.
Heres mine;
1. Manny Pacquiao; Top 10 ever IMO
2. Floyd Mayweather; Highly gifted and great resume
3. Sergio Martinez; Southpaw monter willing to fight anyone
4. Nonito Donaire; see last night 'nuff said.
