During his recent trip to Las Vegas to watch Nonito Donaire destroy Fernando Montiel isn two rounds, WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs) sent a message to his WBA rival, Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs). Bradley wants to fight him next and a date of July 23 has been set aside. The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas is on hold for the potential fight. Khan has a scheduled title defense on April 16 against Paul McCloskey at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England.

khan isnt running. what an idiot!! unless 'team khan' is playing lowball again and tim is trying to goad them into bettering terms. now it wouldn't be like shah and vali to try and insult bradley/shaw with a silly split would it? expect they are offering them an 80/20 in amir's favour.

3 months and 1 week is more than enough time for Khan. Especially after he finishes McCloskey in about 4 rounds.

This is a prime example of somebody's statement being taken out of context..It was clear Bradley was hyping the fight and did not really believe Khan does not want to fight him..

It's early but ya the front runner for dumb post of the day..Their split will be 50/50,Khan won't be able to low ball Timmy B bottom line..Oh yea it was easy to see(if ya know the sport)Timmy B did not even sound like he believe what he was saying..He just said it for hype,the deal between these fighters is close to done everyone(who knows the sport)knows that..
