NONITO has to fight the winner of the supersix bantamweight tournament,MONTIEL-VAZQUEZ JR. is better in my opinion;MONTIEL can make the history becoming 4 division world champ and do it after a tremendous KO loss,he can do it and he will do it vs a puertorican...WHAT'S MORE?

¿both Mexican legends Marco Antonio Barrera and Jesus Chavez Sr who did the TV coverage beamed to Mexico?----> It was Marco Antonio Barrera & JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ SR that did the TV coverage to Mexico!!! I don't think Jesus Chavez was even there & even thou Jesus Chavez was a 2 division world champion(WBC super featherweight & IBF lightweight Champion) he isn't a Mexican Boxing legend(or any boxing legend) cause he lost both titles on his 1st defense...

Yeah, I agree. One more thing, Montiel is shot and way past his prime.

The mexicans continue to be shamed by a few elite fighters from Puerto Rico, Phillippines, and other countries. It's great. That is the punishment for being arrogant.

Montiel ¿Shot & past his prime? C'MON!! Stop minimizing Donaire's great victory!! The last time Montiel lost was in 2006 against ex world champ Jhonny Gonzales by a controversial split decision & before that was in 2003 against then world champion Mark"Too Sharp" Johnson by majority decision & this is ONLY Montiel's 3rd defeat & is the ONLY time he has EVER been KO'd!! Montiel unified the batamweight titles(WBO & WBC) by KNOCKING OUT & BREAKING then WBC world champion Hasegawa's JAW who was making his 10th defense & that was only 3 fights before this 1 & the 2 fights after Hasegawa, Montiel won by KO!!! A SHOT fighter that's PAST his prime wouldn't be able to accomplish that!!!

& Donaire is NOT one dimensional, there's way MORE to Nonito than just a left hook(defense, speed, power & good combination punching with BOTH hands) just take a look at the fight when Nonito annihilated ex batam weight champ Sydorenko in 4 rounds!!! Or take a look when Nonito dismantled the tough Hernan Marquez in 8 here in Puerto Rico!!(Sydorenko & Hernandez, just like Montiel & Darchinyan had NEVER been KO'd before)
