Comments Thread For: Mariusz Wach Batters Jonathan Haggler in Three Rounds

At Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey, Mariusz Wach (24-0, 12 KOs) battered Jonathan Haggler (23-4, 18 KOs) in three rounds. Wach controlled the action in the first two rounds and then pounded on Haggler in the third round as the ref jumped in to prevent any further punishment. Wach is trained by the former world heavyweight champion of the IBF, Michael Moorer.

Maybe Mariusz Wach will receive a ranking from at least one of the sanctioning organizations, and his next fight will be against a ranked contender. He should replace someone like Timor Ibragimov or Hasim Rahman.

Tyson Fury will likely be ranked by the WBO after his win today.
