Monteil never got a chance to get started. Donaire landed left hooks in a touch and go round and it seemed that the left hook of Donaire would play a big part in the fight. The next round Donaire lands flush with the hook as Montiel drops hard to the canvas obviously badly hurt. Montiel would rise at 6 only to tedder and fall again. He was able to beat the count but was unresponsive when the referee asked for his gloves. After taking the gloves and wiping any debris from them he allowed Monteil to continue only to step in mere seconds later as Donaire charged in on a badly hurt Montiel. Didn't get to see much of Donaire but he looks to have the goods. Speed, power and skill...............Rockin'
