Montiel is an excellent fighter, his resume says it all. Donaire was 2 inches taller and came in lighter than Montiel, not to mention he only JUST moved up in weight.

I dont know or care much about either fighter, but big deal.... Not a great win IMO.

Montiel was a champion. The height and reach differnece was less than 2 inches, the weight was the same. Donaire had a great win for himself, and I believe he was the underdog. Boxing fans don't know much sometimes. Don't blame the sport.
