It's true though, his last good opponent was Oscar DLH, which yea he was robbed in but that was his last good opponent. Lorenzo and Sylvester were also okay opponents, nothing special. Where are the Martinez's, Williams, Winky's, Taylor's, Hopkins, Pavlik's on his resume? These are the guys he should have because he's from there era. Now he's stuck with only Martinez, Pirog and Winky Wright if he has a good comeback, and I doubt Sturm fights any of those 3 I mentioned.

I think it's not really his fault, it's his promoter and management. He probably makes decent money selling himself as "The guy who beat De La Hoya but was robbed".

The only surprise is it took him so long to KO a ridiculously unqualified opponent. We should expect more of the same. Sturm will never fight the top guys in the division and will never be a champion, only an alphabet belt-holder.
