Probably not. I think Hearns would eventually break through Sturm's defense and win by late round KO/TKO.

But Sergio Martinez, Dmitry Pirog and Gennady Golovkin would all have a better chance against The Hit Man.

Hell nah, that ***** Stern had ODH on the brink and refused to put him away, Tommy hearns would have no such pitty on him and would most likely take him out by the 5th round, at the most.

Sturm won't even fight the best in his division in this era. What makes you think he would step in the ring with a really great fighter? Sturm would probably commit suicide before he stepped in the ring with a talent of Tommy Hearns.

I can't believe that this thread was even made and then I was shocked when I read thar you guys pick Sturm over Hearns. On top of that some one stated that Sturm could out jab Hearns. Tommy on his toes working his jab was like Piccaso working his brush. Hearns would stop Sturm, Tommy was abit more skilled than his son. But I still give Ronald a hell of alot of respect. He started boxing so late in his life and worked his ass off and made it to a title shot. Yeah, he came up short but he accomplished a hell of alot in a very short time........Rockin'
