So basically the only boxer that stands out on Cotto's record is Mosley ...

cotto has a solid resume............ not only did he fight tough guys, not all world beaters, but then again, show me someone who has fought nothing but world beaters? that fighter doesn't exist, but cotto fought tough guys one after another to another, etc.

to marginalize his career is a *****^ move and flat out ignorant.
Cotto's period at junior welterweight was weak.

All were solid fighters but if we are going to do what the ts is doing we can easily pick apart those fights too. For example Hatton was a jrww,Corrales had many personal problems before the fight and wasnt ready,Castillo was robbed in the first fight ect.

Look I got nothing but respect for Cotto and Margarito.

I just honestly think they're overated.

I'm entitled to an opinion, am I not?

People do it to pretty much every fighter.

depends on who youre comparing them to.

If youre comparing them to guys lke Jose Napoles or something at WW, then yeah theyre a far cry from that level.

but theyre kind of the level of say Aaron Davis or Maurice Blocker...quality fighters that kind of just passed through the WW division, although you wouldnt consider them some of the best ever at the weight.

The era they fought in wasnt as good as say the late 90s though.

That's my point you could play these kind of games with every fighter. Cotto and Margarito have been top ww's for years and this isnt debatable. If the ts thinks they are overrated he is entitled to his opinion but it seems he has an agenda.

Sure you are entitled to your opinion, even if it shows your ignorance.

And it's laughable to read that you respect these fighters while you go on about them as if they were club level tomatoe cans drivin' to fights in the meat wagon.

Your opinion sucks and that's my opinion...........Rockin'
