    Tyson-McBride II in Ireland?

A confidant of Mike Tyson's spoke to the UK magazine Boxing News (so he can't be that good a confidant, right?) claiming that Mike wants to resume his career in Ireland.

Four-time Irish amateur heavyweight champion Joe Egan said that Mike wanted a bout over there to avoid the heavy US tax, and also to rematch Kevin McBride. According to Egan "He regrets the statement saying he's retired from boxing, and he can't wait to get back into the ring again."

Will it happen? If it does, I never thought I'd see the day when Mike Tyson vs. Kevin McBride would probably be a 50-50 pick 'em.

Mike better not let it go the distance, or even if he won the fight he'll be screwed out of it (ala Eubank-Collins).

But I doubt Mike could last that long anyway these days

JuyJuy, here's an idea for you... why not bring Chris Eubank into every thread you post on?

....Mike needs to fight a couple of "C" level Irish club fighters before stepping back up to a guy as "high" caliber as McBride.

I don't think he is even capable of beating D level fighters...Etienne would probably knock him out now...

He must first win the Boy's club title before stepping up to D level irish guys. I hear the boxing program at Vitali's "troubled youth center" is fabulous.

Tyson's problem was putting a shot 5'11 fighter against a guy who's 6'6 and now he wants a rematch against the exact same guy? Very bad management
