    UFC is greater then Boxing

Not true, just that each division in the UFC has one belt! How do they manage to only have one belt?

If boxing had one belt in each division, contenders would be much more hungry and as well as the champs. Plus we would all know who the lineal champ is in each class. Better fights would be made.

    Whats the problem?

So how is Alistair Overeem a world champ as is Cain Velaquez?

UFC is not the sport, MMA is the name of the sport. UFC is a promotion that wont copromote and made up its own championship. It would be the equivilent if Top Tank making a belt and calling it the championship of the world

i agree boxing needs one belt one champion for each division....

question....why cant they merge all these commisions, organizations, and federations into one??? would one of them be able to buy out the rest of them so they can all merge together??

i doubt we'll ever see one champ per division , promoters and fighters will always be happy to get the extra cash and prestige that comes with a "world title" a sanctioning body will give them

Boxing is way better than UFC. If we could get only 1 world champion in each weight class it would totally get the sport on the right track.

UFC won't be able to keep the monopoly on MMA. The #1 pound for pound fighter Anderson Silva made roughly 1.5 million for his last fight lol its only a matter of time before the top fighters stop signing these bogus contracts

90% of the US refers to UFC as a sport. Im sure they'll be just fine
