great point. manny doesnt feel the need to acquiesce to floyd when he feels he's the top dog in the sport. It doesnt help the fact that floyd & his family basically accused pac of doping as soon as manny beat hatton.

Pride is a very powerful thing. especially to hyper competitive athletes. Manny doesnt want to give floyd the satisfaction of bowing to his demands hence the reason for pac agreeing to tests his sport does not require but to a certain degree.

Manny doesnt want to look like he's bowing down floyd by accepting what floyd wants. That's why he wants the cutoff days so he can say they met in the middle, nobody bowed down to anybody.

The difference is floyd doesnt want to meet manny in the middle. He wants it his way or the highway.

Donaire is right in his analysis.

Well then he brought this upon himself, refusing a drug test ain't anything to be prideful about. You'd think Mayweather demanded Pacquiao bent over and take a penis up the ass, no ****....

Didn't Manny accept some form of blood testing? Where does the pride come into it then?

This is just pinoy pride trying to cover Manny's refusal to take the tests near the fight.

If anything this just reaffirms it.

I get what you saying but they not really meeting in the middle when it comes what each fighter asked for that is not commission based. Commission rules state 10 oz gloves for 147 or higher PBF agreed to 8 oz. Commission has rules for weight penalty PBF agreed to Manny wanting his OWN FINE OUTSIDE THE COMMISSION RULES. No matter how you slice it Manny is not meeting PBF in the middle by trying to get a cut-off on the testing.

All that boils down to pride and thinking "I RUN ****!!!"

Manny never agreed on random testing. He only agreed on fixed dates. Which means that he knows when they will be coming to take his blood.
