Mayweather...and as much as I like Martinez...it would be easier then many people think...WHY? Because for the 1st time in awhile Martinez would not be the faster fighter going into a fight with Mayweather...not only that but he would not be able to use that stick and move style against Mayweather effectively because Mayweather will be too quick and Mayweather would not be a stationary Target like Pavlik and Williams was

some guys are BOXING FANS so they can put their HATE ASIDE and BE HONEST compared to others who put their FEELINGS in it when they have to choose a fight lol

May not like Mayweather for the stuff he does but his skills are UNDENIABLE!

I gotta agree. You would think they would be talking about fantasy fights against hearns, robinson and leonard......instead they are talking about fantasy fight against top contenders in Floyd's own division, or divisons he once fought at.

It's funny and sad at the same time.
Wow,the irony..........................the nerve........................the shear hypocrisy of some people,I tell ya..........

"It would be an honor to fight him at any weight he desires between 154 and 160 pounds, for either title, as long as it’s at a minimum of 154 pounds." - Sergio Martinez
Ok, so the weight is no issue. What about the promoter?
"Sergio is willing to fight next at 154 pounds -- defending his WBC middleweight title as well as fighting for the WBC super welterweight title which would be vacated by Manny Pacquiao. That’s a pretty big concession, but if that’s what it takes to get Floyd Mayweather Jr., the WBC’s emeritus super welterweight champion, in the ring with him, Sergio is ready, willing and able. There is a lot of confidence behind his matinee looks," continued DiBella. "The fans deserve Martinez vs. Mayweather and boxing needs it to continue its growth into the mainstream. I can work with any promoter to make the best fight with Sergio. It’s business -- good business - and common sense."
Cool, cool. Sergio is on board, so is Dibella. Weight isn't an issue.

Looks like only one thing can possibly stop this fight from happening (allegedly)...
"Mayweather is the pound for pound best fighter on earth and whatever Mayweather says, I will accept. It will be an honor to fight him regardless of the weight...I don’t mind doing any [drug] tests that he demands and I will do them with pleasure - up until the day of the fight." -Sergio Martinez
HOT DAMN. Fantasy fight, you just became the real deal. Pack your bags for Dubai. Mayweather-Martinez at 154, full random OST with no cut-offs. IT'S ON!!!
Let's keep bumping this thread just to remind fanboys that nobody is forcing Floyd to fight Pac. I don't think even God can. Point is, Floyd HAS ALTERNATIVES other than Pac.

Martinez would be the right choice for Floyd. I'd expect fanboys to promote this fight. Pac is too easy for Floyd. He says it himself defended by his fanboys. His recent tweets say so.

If there are reporters following this thread, I hope they would ask
Floyd's comment about this Martinez option. We need his latest
                  comment on this one.

Pacquiao's take is he will fight Martinez at 150, Martinez wants it
at 154. There you go. At least, Pac said his piece about this fight.
                  What about Floyd's?

This would be my last bump for this thread for now. I'd focus on
tonight's big fight (Donaire vs Montiel). Hope these guys would
                  steal the spotlight.
