I said Morales will struggle before stopping Raheem late.

Also....whether you think Raheem won against Juarez or not, the fact is that he certainly didn't beat Juarez easily....& Morales is everything Juarez is (in the positive sense), but on a much, much higher level.
so what do you suggests we do?

He's facing a brawler with, what, 10 losses on his record ?

Morales, on the other hand, is facing a very difficult opponent...one who he may struggle with before taking out.

Please temper your celebrations & the like by remembering the above...

      Thanks, guys.

P.S.- I am excited to see Manny back in action, no matter who the opponent is.
this should be the post i should quote w/.. so im repeating it, so what do we do?

        TEMPER YOUR ENTHUSIASM....

What I'm trying to say is....

Considering the opposition of Morales & Pac.... If Morales wins by decision & Pac wins by brutal, early KO....it doesn't mean that Pac stole the night, or was more impressive.Morales has the FAR more difficult task on his hands.

How can you say that Raheem is the tougher fight. Raheem couldn't even beat Rocky Juarez. Raheem can't punch. Hector Velazquez is the tougher opponent, the guy can punch & his KO ratio is very good. Also Velazquez can take a good punch. I see Pac having the tougher fight, not Morales.

            Simple.....it's about styles.

Velasquez is a brawler, & will play right into the hands of Pacquiao.

Raheem is a slickster, & Morales may have to hunt him down & figure him out before he ges him out of there.

Yes if Rocky didn't lose to Raheem, I don't see Morales losing to Raheem. Raheem doesn't impress me, nor I think his skills are that great. Like you said Morales is 10 times better then Rocky & I agree with that. I see this fight being an easy win for Morales. However you can never count a puncher out, Velasques can punch & also can take good punch.

No, we don't have HBO period, but the main sports network up here broadcasts a lot of their events (though some go to PPV instead ). Unfortunately like all sports network they treat boxing like garbage and sandwich them in between other events that almost always go overtime.

Like I missed most of the Juarez-Soto fight because the damn Blue Jays and Tigers couldn't figure out how to score more than 2 runs apiece through 13 innings...good thing I have the Internet to download what I miss.

WTF bRo! How come your sports coverage there is messed up? I suggest you move here in the US of A. hehehehe Joke. Peace

The fact remains is that Raheem was robbed, I had him the clear winner of 3-4 rounds....That whole fight has BS written all over it and shouldnt be held against Raheem. But what DOES worry me about Raheem is that he still has a bit of rust and has only been fighting 8 rounders and that worries me because if he isnt ready to go 10-12 rounds in a tune up then he sure as hell wont be able to last 8 rounds with a fighter like Morales. Both fighters stand a very good chance of beating one another but because of Raheems rust and inactivity a Morales UD is most likely.

In your honest opinion is a Morales KO a possibility?

Raheem will cause some problems for Morales but I don't think he will be able to beat him. Even if he didn't have rust. If a shorter guy like Juarez can get to him then Morales can as well. People act like the Juarez fight was a blowout for Raheem. He struggled with Juarez almost as much as Juarez struggled with him.

Morales is longer and a much better boxer than Juarez. He will struggle with the style but figure out a way to beat Raheem.
