When was Margarito's Prime?

everyone is saying he is shot right now but he gave his best performance against cotto, and he was better than when he fought williams
was the mosley fight the end of his prime? or it was the cotto fight?

He wasn't in his prime when he fought Cotto. That's easy the best win of his career. But, he was already at the beginning of the down slide of his career.

I feel the Clottey fight was him reaching the end of his prime.

The 2 best performances i saw from Margs was Cintron2 and Cotto.

I actually thought Margarito looked best even before the Cotto fight.

If you watch him from the first Cintron fight...man, he sits down on his punches way more. even against Cotto hes a little more of an arm puncher.

by the time he got around to Cotto I think he might have started slowing down a bit...that was his last really good performance though.
