I like when Lampley is biased towards fighters, it shows he cares about the sport. I'd rather have a guy that has passion like the fans than a dude that calls it down the middle. Bob Popas grow on trees. There's nothing special about him.

Lamps has the voice, I consider him the voice of boxing and having the voice is more important than what you actually say in commentating, I like his enthusiasm and energy too.

Kellerman is terrible he is whiny and nasally in addition to him just saying what HBO wants him to say.

No it doesnt, it shows hes a nuthugging faaggot who says ***** that isnt even happening so he can lick Cotto's nuts. He almost started a fight with Steward for suggesting Clottey was winning.

Why would I give a fuck, they're just sports commentators not people that I have to listen to all day.

Lampley has the best commentary voice I have ever heard. It's spectacular, blows Al Michaels (the runner up) out of the water. I don't think Kellerman is a schill, though. He really tunes down his act on HBO, but if you ever heard one of his radio shows, you can tell that he wouldn't really go for that. He used to call out his bosses all the time on ESPN Radio. It's part of why they jerked him around and he got fired.

I still don't see the problem with this. Lamps is there to make the fight exciting, which he does. No where in his job description does it say you have to call the fight straight down the middle so there is no influence on what the viewer on tv sees. He's not a judge, he's a fan. A fan that just so happens to have a great tv voice. I don't see the harm in him showing biased towards certain fighters or calling Steward out if he disagrees.

Jim Lampley is a bit too much for me at times but I still like him much better than Bob "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" Papa.
