Well if you keep missing and keep getting countered all night then no matter how strong you fighting spirit is you'll give up. Mosley was reacting to every feints. Mayweather always have his opponents discouraged in his fights. Even Marquez gave up.

It's not a case that he broke his spirit, Sugar just didn't know what to do. He doesn't waste energy throwing aimlessly. And if there's nothing for him to hit then he's not going to throw. Yeah he's not what he once was, but he certainly hasn't lost his fighting spirit. He just happened to come across one of the most gifted defensive boxers there has been. Pacman will suite him better coz they both like to trade. Still think he'll lose, but it should be an entertaining fight. I see it being stopped by the corner roundabout round 9ish

The first Forrest fight, I think the blood really fazed Mosley.

Mosley has been up and down for like 6 years now. He has a good fight, a bad fight, a good fight, a couple of bad fights.

In the Mayweather fight is apparent fairly early on that Shane was befuddled.
