Yuriorkis Gamboa is boxings most entertaining fighter

Gamboa is pretty entertaining, watching a guy dance on the edge of a razor blade is always thrilling because you just never know when they will slip up and that is always a gruesome conclusion.
Since you never know when it is coming it always keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This guy Gamboa is not entertaining at all. He has the athleticism, speed, and skills but he fights like he is in the amateurs. After he lands solid combo he backs away and admires his work. To me he fights like a confused young man who does not know whether to be a combo punching brawler or a in and out fighter. He lacks consistency. He'll look great in one round and he'll look like **** the next.

I think he needs a new trainer, he looked great against Mtagwa though.

The fact that he can be put down and possibly knocked out adds to the drama and excitement. Juanma and Khan are also exciting for the same reason. Pacquiao, Donaire, Katsidis, Maidana, and Froch make the most exciting list.

anyway, on a p4p basis, not even considering his division, the only ones standing a chance in your list are katsidis and manny... the thread is about being exciting, not about who's had the best opponents til now.. and did anyone here see his last two fights? how can anyone say that he looked horrible? he totally dominated his two opponents from the beggining to the end. any other fighter would have done the same and everyone would praise them. the thing with yuri is that he is indeed so exciting that people always expect him to be ULTRA exciting so when he's just very good, dominating and outclassing his opponents without the KO, everyone starts complaining.

remember that yuri did KO Salido in the last round, however he acted like a b*tch and hit him when he was down so the ref gave salido the extra time he deserved to recover... people just like to look at the results without actually watching the fight. that is, if gamboa would have received the KO win against salido, everyone would be like "ohhhh ****t dude was so exciting the entire fight, playing with his opponent n **** and then knocking him out in the last round" but because he didn't get the KO people just look at the result and say "borrrrrrrrrrrring, gamboa's overrated, blah blah" when it's actually the same fight
