ya but for the WBC to come out so quickly and say there are "problems" with the other top 6 guys is just plain dumb... I mean it was barely a week ago when Golden Boy asked for the wbc title for this belt, youre telling me that the WBC went to 6 different guys in that short time period and realized ALL of them had problems and those fights were impossible to make? and im sorry wasnt Canello fighting this bum with the wbc sanction prior to manny vacating? why dont they allow this fight to happen without a belt on the line and give themselves time to find a worthy challenger to fight for the belt... no they just rather give it to Canello right away and then allow one of these guys who have "problems" to challenge him for it...

Neither Canelo or Chavez should be fighting for a title right now. This just goes to show you that you don't have to earn a title, you can just buy it.

It's a shame that career Jr Middle's cannot get a title shot. How many fights do Alvarez/Hatton have combined at 154? Alvarez didn't even fight for this ****** silver belt at the full weight limit and now Hatton is supposed to be a proven contender at 154, this is just as bad or worse than sanctioning Pacman vs Margo for the previous title.

Does the Silver Belt in this division go away after this fight? WBC is so inconsistent. Rhodes has been number1 since 2009. They stripped Martinez, they should have stripped Pac too before he vacated, and treated Rhodes the same way they treated Zbik. They just want Mexicans to wear that belt.
