For the record, I have heard from a few people that JMM and Rafa are both divas, Rafa more than JMM.

I thought it was unprofessional and there has to be something up. Either JMM didn't know and found out at the last minute or he pulled a *** move and changed his mind at the end.

I heard there was rumors of Cotto training with Nacho and that was nixed for some reason. I wonder if there's something similar to that.

I ask this. If JMM and Maidana ever fought eachother, who do you think Nacho would train for that match up, it sure as hell wouldn't be Maidana. He would let Maidana know off the break that he'll be training JMM.

Now with that established. Don't you think that all of the inside knowledge that Nacho would have on Marcos is now lost????? I do. I think JMM just erased what probably could of been a systematic beatdown of Maidana off the books.

You have to respect the loyalty that Nacho shows in sticking with his guy.

He could have turned the much younger Maidana into more of a beast and had another monster in his stable.

JMM was already among my favourite fighters. And now he is in my top 3.

Nacho should explained himself to maidana, be a professional!--Marquez is right here, nacho can't be teaching Marquez's tricks to a future opponent.

it was his I believe. Abner and JMM are still good friends and he goes to visit them often

the reason he left Joel Diaz was because he was homesick and wanted to train close to home

How dare Marquez not want his trainer to train someone he could potentially face in the future! How dare he not make Nacho aware of the potential conflict of intrest!!

Thats right morons Marquez should be putting Maidana's intrests ahead of his! ***ing dumb!!!

Damn that was a dirty move. I'm a bit disappointed in JMM and Nacho for this. Pretty disrespectful of Nacho to not even talk to him face to face. I sort of understand why JMM doesn't want him to train Maidana since they are both fighting around the same weight but as long as they aren't going to face each other, who cares? Maybe JMM wants a fight with Maidana?

WHAT? If Nacho trains Maidana than it makes it very likely that Maidana would chose to NOT fight JMM. Whether it's because JMM will know too much about him or he wouldn't wanna give up his trainer. Then JMM loses a potential opponent who could be a title holder at 140 soon. And on the other hand, if they do train together and then Maidana leaves Nacho to fight JMM then Miadana knows everything about JMM too. Hell Maidana was talking about how great it'll be to spar with JMM loool this same thing happened with Floyd and Roger b4. It's ****ing up fights in MMA too as a lot of the top guys train together and won't fight each other.

I'm just praying to god that JMM and Maidana fight for the WBA title after Maidana unfortunately waxes Morales

I see your point but looking at a guy like Freddie has Manny and Amir as possible conflicts of interests and Manny has never told Freddie don't train Amir.
