    The truth about Shane Mosley

I've always been a big Mosley fan, but recently I've been thinking more and more about it. Mosley is relying too much on his power. everyone see Mosley as this incredible hard puncher. And I did too. (not saying he doesn't hit hard, just hear me out)

The last time Mosley knocked someone out within 3 rounds was all the way back in 2001. against 30-3-2 Adrian Stone. (KO3).

After that Mosley has had 16 fights. with a record of: 8W 6L 1D.. With 4 KOs. (1 NC)

So what do you think about this? I'd say Mosley has just as little chance in the early rounds as he has in the late rounds. he hasnt knocked out someone in 3 rounds in 10 years....

For the record: he hasnt KO'd someone in 1 or 2 rounds since: 1996. (at 135)

    Your thoughts please

It's the hype from the Floyd fight. Everyone saw him get at Floyd early and gas late.

Not long ago he put out Marg and Mayorga late.

He says all the wrong stuff too, remember this?

My arms are longer than his, I'm gonna be able to hit him before he hits me...

Yeah, his power is slightly overrated. Make no mistake he punches really hard, but people do mistake him for some one punch KO artist that he isn't.

The truth is that ssm is one of the dumbest fighters in the sport. if he cant out power/speed his opponent then he gets frustrated and looks to survive. Plus he is w/o his magic juice that he thought was totally legal.

I agree with this. All you have to watch is the Cotto fight and he lands plenty flush shots, that have little effect.
The first fight I seen of him was on USA or ESPN and they were hyping his power back then. He landed a nice shot early in the fight then threw 2o wild punches that about 2 landed and the ref stopped the fight. Wasn't that impressed back then either.
