I have deep respect for your loyalty toward the once great Sugar Shane.
The prospect of the underdog attaining the unthinkable is what has fueled the fight game for well over a century.
But there are moments wherein mythology and blind faith must give way to reality.
At 39, Mosely would have to catch Manny sleeping to render the severe damage required to win this thing.
Even asleep, Pac would then rise, clear his rather hard head and finish the job at hand.

Oddsmakers preach this at 7-1 as of today.
By May 7, with all of the hype, it may drop to 4-1.
In the world of real time, where hope must take second place to a massive onslaught of precision punches, Shane will not be able to withstand the battering due to diminished reflexes and stamina.
Evidence: A softer hitting Mayweather toyed with Shane for 12. Mosely landed that single shot and that is why he is getting this one.
Mora, whose punches have the efficency of a small paintball spurt, held him to a draw that was accurate in it's scoring.

To be very honest, I fear for Shanes health in this fight.
No amount of cash is worth becoming the Ali of today, or even worse, the Jerry Quarry of tomorrow.
But keep hope alive my friend.
The check for this collision will be rendered and paid in full on May 7.

Let's forget for a second that Mosley is almost 40 years old, that his reflexes are shot and that we will be fighting the best boxer in the world. When was the last time any of you saw Mosley come from behind and win a fight. If you are thinking of the DLH fights.... he was in control of that fight and only the commentators gave the illusion that Oscar gave it away.

My point is that I've noticed that in the Forrest fights, Winky's fights, the Cotto and Mayweather fights, Mosley somewhere in the 5 round lost his heart. He never gave up physically but mentally he can tell that he became despondent and realized that he was not gonna get the win. Don't take my word... check the tapes and see how each of his trainers realized that he went into cruise control and was not listening.

With Pacman, if he doesn't do something early and sees Pacman relent ground.... he will fall into his same habit of just surviving to the last round. Is a matter of fact, I think that his corner will not let him take a beating alas Cotto/Margo and will stop the fight.

So now taking his age, lack of reflexes, loss of speed and mental fortitude.... Mosely whould be a 10-1 on this one.

Margarito hurt Pac in the sixth round I believe. He used a bodyshot, maybe that´s a good alternative for Shane. Of course, Margarito was too slow, predictable, and macho ( because Mexicans don´t hug) for Pacman.

            one question for everyone...

if shane lands that right hand that hit mayweather do you think pac has the

ability to overcome it like floyd did?
No, because Pacquiao doesn't know how to clinch.

I'm with Nesty though. Shane needs to control the fight from start and be physical. Stand in the center and wait to land one big punch (as he did against Floyd) is fatal against Manny as he'll have time to hit you 2-3 times and then move away.

i know that pac dont want none of floyd and he is either juicing or using that as an excuse to avoid floyd. but im giving floyd to the end of the yr to fight pac. i dont care if he has to say **** the tests lets fight anyway. i dont care if he has ot give pac a bigger split..if floyd dont pursue pac and make that fight by the end of this yr im done with boxing all together.

when is it enough money for these super stars? floyd and pac both are ****** rich...do something for the sport which raised and made you.
dumbass *****. Floyd has not fought anyone better than Cotto. So please STFU.

Wrong. Pacman chooses not to Clinch. Not hard to learn that crap.
Reason why he has the most exciting fights.

If you want clinch king go watch andre farking boring ward.

actually, in a number of interviews, floyd was rather articulate and downright humble in fact. i can't remember exactly what they were, but i do remember seeing him talking clearly and concisely in a few interviews.

i think that at first, floyd was simply acting out all this animosity with Pac. but over time, it has developed a life of its own and is starting to truly affect floyd negatively and it shows with his more recent public appearances.

Yes you will, but 4 punches pr round won't cut it against Pac.
