    Drop Richardson & Style Overhaul

There are 2 keys to Shane beating Pacquiao: (1) is to drop Richardson as his trainer, (2) Style Overhaul. Now, don't get your panties all in a bunch as I mean no disrespect to Richardson. He's a class act. The problem with Richardson's training is that he did not prepare his fighter with a new approach to fighting mayweather.

The training regimen was the same. The only thing to change was the advice he gave shane regarding how Mayweather will "grow and tail and begin shooting fireballs."

To win this fight, all Shane has to do is work on RING GENERALSHIP. Manny is poor with patience, so make him work to hit you by utilizing great RING GENERALSHIP. All of Manny's opponents since fighting Marquez in Feb 2008 were all statues. It was when Cotto began dancing, was he able to extend the fight by 5 more rounds and Manny grew frustrated chasing him. Marquez was able to counter Manny all night because he simply continued to backpedal.

The combination of Shane's power and utilization of great ring generalship will defeat Manny easily. Keep it moving, pop the jab on the shorter Filipino and snap it back quickly while shuffling away. As Manny continues to stalk Shane, fire a bomb of a left hook or the 1-2 (left to the body-straight right hand he threw at Floyd in the 2nd) THEN CLINCH. Start all over again.

That's hard to say, coming from a guy with a Saul Alvarez avatar !!

On May 7th, Floyd will have more reasons to duck Manny Pacquiao.
          And that's all !!

You do realize Shane's jab is non-existant. It's a flicker that he uses to set up the right hand. He doesn't even bother fully extending it with any intentions behind it.

He used to have a great left hook. That too is now non-existant, it is barely thrown and when thrown it is not thrown with any real authority.

Shane has not thrown a meaningful combo with serious purpose since the Margo fight. Maybe the style change will bring them back, cause the Shane that fought Mora, looked just like the Shane that fought Floyd. Jittery, unsure, and hesitant to pull the trigger, behind a none existant jab.

Shane has never been a fighter that fights off the back foot well. I'll go as far to say that he can NOT fight off the back foot. His productivity always decreases when put in that situation. Why do you think Floyd pressed him. Cause Floyd knew that Shane(in order to be effective)must come forward. To gameplan for Shane to backpeddle is like signing his death certificate against Manny. Shane is simply a come forward fighter, he always has been.

You do realize I used the words "STYLE OVERHAUL"??? I never said "Shane has an awesome jab and he should use it!" I said Shane needs to utilize a new style. Not trying to be rude but if you comprehended the basic premise of my suggestion, you would not have taken the time out to tell me what Shane does not have or does not do.

Everything I stated is based on the premise that Shane does not do these things, and if he is to win, he needs to do these things. At some point, any point in your life or career, you have to adjust to get the desired results. The approach to boxing Richardson trains Shane will be ineffective against Pacquiao- therefore Shane needs a STYLE OVERHAUL.

                All respect unto Mosley !!

Pac will handle the right hand of Mosley and by round 4 will have him where he wants him. Mosley is dangerous til the last bell.

Mosley will face his worst beating he has ever taken and will either call it a day , QUIT, on his stool or the towel will come in.

If Mosley comes forward hard with his punches and the norm is he shuts his eyes then he will find himself in " HATTON LAND" !!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys realize how easy is to say "It's easy to beat Pacquiao, you just need to do this and that...and move like this...a jab like that".

But a technical fighter like Cotto couldn't.
A british bulldog like Hatton couldn't.
A bigger and heavier Margarito couldn't.

And of course, the most skilled boxer in the world doesn't even want to hear Pacquiao's name.

So, seems the formula is not that easy, is it ?!?

harder and heavier than clotteys and margacheatos..

margacheato was a walking zombie, that itself will put pacs timing behind

                    for a round or two..

its like hitting batting practice for 6 months then first game your facing

roger clemens...he will have to make an adjustment

shane can not chase or run or waste energy. he needs to be smart with short

sharp punches, 1-4 at a time and change the speed and pop on them..

he really needs hopkins in his camp to teach him how to fight as an aged

fighter. if shane tries to out react, out counter and out speed pacman he

will get killed. he needs to be smart and conservative and look to just land

good hard sharp punches and hope to catch pac.....no way he can out work him
All of those things could happen if only Mosley had the same high Boxing IQ level as Bernard Hopkins.

first of all respect for a couple of SOLID posts in here....but I think you're sleeping on Naz man....I heard him tell a NSB dude in a vid on the main page that Shane is gonna have to learn to switch up his approach.....he used basketball terms when he described it....he said you can't just go str8 down the lane and dunk no more because those young boys are there waiting to block ya shot.....he said you have to develop that fade away jump shot.....he said thats what he and Shane are gonna be working on in THIS camp
