I dont even know who half the champs are nowadays, even though I can still name most the top 10 fighters in each division.
Berto is 27 and he's beaten Collazo, Urango, and Quintana.
American champs off the top of my head, Cunningham, Cloud, Ward, Bundrage, Berto, Bradley(2 belts), and I want to say Guerrero but I think that's wrong.

    Next.

EDIT--Nvm, we had 7 with Alexander, Bradley kept the belt but we have 6 now if you don't count Trout who is the regular champ.

Guerrero is not a champ currently but he is in line to be a three division champ considering what he has to deal with at 135 to get a belt.

He seems to want the top dog, Marquez, hopefully he gets him after Katsidis.

hmm, yep I just looked them all up.

Im not going to argue when Im wrong, Berto puts someone like Steilglitz to shame, even though Berto pisses me off a lot.

I dont know what the hell Bundrage is doing, but other than that all the other champions from America are pretty damn proven.

Why wouldn't he get a title shot? He fit all the requirements for an opponent in todays boxing world: he is not a threat, he has a built up record, and plus he has the name of a legend.
