Manny Pacquiao Causes Pre-Barack ***** Meeting Car Accident

Eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee, are in a luncheon meeting with president Barack ***** and his wife, Michele, "as we speak," the adviser of the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) titlist, Michael Koncz, told FanHouse moments ago.

"We're standing at the entrance way to the White House right now waiting for him to come out. Manny was very excited about it," said Koncz.

"They will have probably been in there for about an hour or more before they're done, him and Jinkee," said Koncz. "Just him and Jinkee, and that's all who were allowed in there. They've been in there for 10 or 15 minutes already."

The stop in Washington, D.C., is the last of a four-day tour promoting a May 7, WBO welterweight (147 pounds) title defense by the 32-year-old Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 knockouts) that is being promoted by Top Rank Promotions, televised on Showtime pay per view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas against 39-year-old three-division, five-time titlist Shane Mosley.

The tour began on Thursday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles with stops in Las Vegas and New York, respectively, on Saturday and Monday.

On Tuesday, Pacquiao was welcomed on the floor of the United States Senate as a guest of Nevada Senator, Harry Reid, who facilitated the visit with *****.

In another development, Koncz said that Pacquiao's presence outside of the White House, led rubber-necking and photo-taking drivers to cause a three-car accident at the intersection of State and 17th streets.

"We're standing on the corner across from the White House entrance way, and couple of ladies were taking pictures while they were driving, and then, another guy took a picture while they were driving," Koncz explained.

"And it caused a three-car accident -- unbelievable. Manny was standing on the corner waiting to cross the street, and we were standing at the entrance way," said Koncz. "Fortunately, there was only car damage. Everyone got out of their cars and it seems like no one was injured."

Some people are too shortsighted to care about what's best for boxing.

That's the problem with politics and in particular a four year term. Politicians have to invest so much of their time trying to stay in power that they don't have enough time to actually do their job well. It often leads to short-term populist policies and media love-ins like this Pacquiao meet, which is a problem as far as I'm concerned.

If you approve of *****, I think you would agree in the long term this would be best for his interests. Although yes I do understand what you're saying about the system.
