Timothy Bradley and Andre Berto, fighters who are virtually unknown to the genreal public, are already making multi-millions in their fights. I think its safe to say boxers are breaking the bank without complete stardom.

now as far as boxing payment i think its bull****!!!! look at football for example, these guys comin out of college getting $45mil guaranteed without even playin yet! It takes boxer years to start making fat money like that, and thats year round preparation, getting hit, running all sorts of risks....

Look at that POS Albert Haynesworth, 100Mil and nothing to show for it, instead his priorities were catching court cases...

Boxers should get a cut on bets on their fights also, like a little tax on each bet u know, just like they get for PPV (established boxers)

Manny Pacquiao earns a lot more than $6-7 million per fight he is going to make over $20 million for his fight against Mosley.

Elite boxers are paid very well but Boxing is hard to compare to seasonal sports. The best comparioson is between Boxing and MMA payouts and it is not even close Boxers make so much more money than mma fighters it is crazy. mma guys get paid peanuts and Boxers make big big money $$$$.

you can't compare boxing to team sports. you gotta compare boxing to sports like tennis, golf and other sports like this.

now, you have to ask yourself, are golfers getting underpaid? I wouldn't know cause I don't play golf.

Actually, it's not that boxers are underpaid but rather that athletes in other sports are FAR overpaid. Successful boxers earn what an athlete should earn, and in the case of Pacquiao and Mayweather far more.

yea bro but Floyd didn't make that amount just from boxing, i garantee u that, just like tiger woods, not many boxers do much out of boxing cuz to be the best u have to eat sleep and **** boxing but i get what ur trying to say
