Comments Thread For: Shane Mosley's Options: Cintron, Mike Jones, More

Regardless of the outcome on May 7, Top Rank will have an option on Shane Mosley's next fight. If Mosley is able to defeat Manny Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title, then a rematch with Pacquiao is the likely option. If Mosley suffers a loss, then Top Rank would look to match him against one of their welterweights or another name in the division.

This thread is misleading...it should read (after the Pac fight) "Mosely's options-Nursing home or Funeral home"!

Damn, I thought the Pac fight was off. I wouldn't mind Cotto-Mosley II @ 154.

Why..? Mosely is just going to become/already is the big name whipping boy of the welter division, they should be trying to match the other talent (Berto,Brook,Jones etc) against each other..not against a 39 year old.
Respect to him for fighting the best but...it gets to a point where it seems delusional that he thinks he could compete still with these younger fighters.

Looks like Top Rank want's to use Mosley as punching bag for all the new commers or a stepping stone to put it exact

What this tells me is that Mosley retirement plan will take 2 more fights. He had to put himself 1st even if it met NO after carrier with GBP. Smart boxer who said, Fck with you Oscar, I'm making big bucks on my last 2 fights.
