Read it again in the latest Ring magazine. Was this a concerted effort to avoid Roy's shows, or just a snap name for a small minority?

When I see Roy on TV the announcers always big him up and the crowd give him a big cheer... what gives?

Back when Jones was fighting weak competetion, there was a small movement that tried to Boycott a upcoming Jones PPV. I believe it was Jones vs. Gonzales.

it was a boycott on his fights... it was during a span of meaningless title defenses against mysterious, unknown mandatories and challengers... i believe part time fighter, policemen ricky frazier was what started it...
