Arthur Abraham is going to be completely outclassed by Andre Ward.

Yet Ward fought one of the worst fights in tv history against him.

If Kessler/Ward is anywhere but Oakland Ward gets at least 2 points deducted from him which would've changed the texture of the entire match because Ward would've had his cheating ace of spades taken away at which point he becomes the one dimensional hack he is.

Or he gets dq'd because his frustration at not being able to foul would cause him to foul even more.

Bottom line, there's a reason why he only fights in Oakland.
Ward has fought in St. Lucia and the Cayman Islands. He also won the gold medal in Athens, Greece.

Ok I'm done knocking about. I like ward as a human being, I don't even knock him for fighting in no cal all the time (except during a tourney when all other participants have fought off their home turf) but cot damn if he isn't overrated in nsb. He's been good, not even close to great in this tourney. He hasn't displayed this inside-mid range-outside fight game he's supposed to have against anyone (ARGUABLY kessler) and compared to bute vs c and b fighters he looks pedestrain. Bute is bombing out dudes like Miranda and the guy with the brick head.

I don't hate ward, I'm not convinced he should even be sniffing a pfp list yet.

either you're trolling just to troll or you're so biased you have no idea what you're talking about.

watch the fight again, no fouls or accidental headbutts occurred prior round 7 and kessler was getting badly schooled. That's skill.

Further, so what if Ward had a mediocre performance against Miranda while others have done better, what exactly does that prove? Nothing. Plenty of examples like this throughout boxing. For example, Bernard Hopkins had a very mediocre (and boring) performance against Keith Holmes and immediately after absolutely schooled Felix Trinidad in one of the greatest performances of all time. What does that mean? Hopkins elevated his game when he had to.

No difference with Ward. Miranda was just a fight, just a guy who'd already lost a couple times Ward was a heavy favorite, he was expected to win. Against Kessler however he was the underdog and just like Hopkins Ward elevated his game to prove the world of his greatness.

Bute is not 1-1 against Andrade. I understand the count was long and the referee was incredibly ******, but the round literally would have been over if the ref let the fight continue after the count of 8.

(for a different guy)Kelly Pavlik didnt really dominate Miranda you know. it was Pavlik's coming out party, and was a two way battle...although Pavlik of course got the upper hand pretty quickly

I wouldn't use the Miranda KO Bruhnlaw. Miranda got caught doing the dumbest thing I've ever seen a fighter do. Drop his gloves and stick his chin out in punching range against a known puncher. I had Miranda outboxing Bute(To my surprise)until he pulled that foolish stunt. ***** was a showboating failure if I ever saw one.

I don't give the hometown fighting any attention. Ward has his first fight at home, yes. His next fight would have been in Arkansas vs. Taylor but Taylor was forced out. So he obviously fought Green at home. The Bika bout was not part of the Super Six, it was a regular title defense. He has fought twice in this tournament and they have happened to be at home.

There is no way Sunderland allow Ward-Abraham to be in California. That much I am sure of. With that said, all of Bute's 7 title defenses have been in Quebec. 9/10 of Abraham's defenses at 160 were in Germany. Now those are hometown advantages.

Bute was in no position to continue after the count of 8 or the count of 18. The ref should have waved that fight off.

When Ward literally has a ref save him from a KO loss to get a UD win, talk to me.

Aside from Miranda, he looked like garbage against a bum in Green, he went 12 rounds with some guy named Sugar Poo, he needed to foul Kessler beyond recovery to win that fight and he never leaves Oakland for fear of being exposed.

But yeah, a guy that goes 12 rounds with these luminaries is "great" and p4p level.

Just wait till they actually enforce the rules on this clown.

If only Ward ever gets a Froch-Dirrell like decision in his favor. The message board brigade will have their scopes out.

Still talking, but not confident enough to place a bet. He obviously doesn't really believe half the crap he says.
