c'mon man. he was trying to get a ww fight for the longest before sergio, he came up for that fight, that's why it wasn't at 160.

again. it's weight classes, not height classes.

The first fight was at 160, and before that he was trying to get a shot at Pavlik, why would he do that if he was trying to stay at 147.

Honestly, Williams isn't my favorite fighter but i do respect his skill, but IMHO what he learned from Martinez is his style contains flaws, and instead of trying to correct these flaws, he's just moving down to fight smaller guys who can't take advantage of them.

Sure as long as he makes weight he can fight at 140 if he wants, but it still seems like a b*tch move to me.

after the first fight he publicly went down to 154 where the cintron fight was, then he went to 147 to try and get a big money fight. he had to put on weight for the second sergio fight. that's why it was at 147.

for real..Williams kept dropping hs right hand when throwing the left..martinez kept sticking that over hand left...it was a matter of time..

yep. even his trainer refuses to acknowledge that pwill is seriously lacking in boxing skill... instead of imrpoving pwill, his team is intent on running back to 147 lbs to hide the fact that pwill is an unskilled brawler with no power, no chin, and no defense. it's pretty pathetic.

last I checked many legends got ktfo. there's a ton of fighters out there I WISH were like pwill- looking to fight anyone and BRINGS IT every fight (except the first quintana fight). EVERY FIGHT and he fights like a man. he may not fight the perfect style for his size, but if pwill's on, you are watching- yes you the little bit ch asses who talk all this nonsense on here about him.

I know it still hurts some of you that he beat down margs when absolutely NO ONE wanted to fight him.

                  bottom line:
Pwill has proven that he's no bit ch. If you think he's done, then fine, but just check his resume. he's accomplished quite a bit in his career and he's no easy out for anyone right now. we'll see when he fights.
I Co-Sign every ****in word of this post.

Major flaw with this logic is that Lewis was chin checked but stepped right back against the same fighter who dropped him to avenge his lose. The comparison would make more sense if Lewis lost and decided to start campaining at SMW.
