Pacquiao is better than Duran

IMO he's better than Duran. Better footwork, better head movement, faster, crisper striking. Does Pacquiao have the killer instinct that Duran had? Hell no. Do I think he's the better overall fighter? Yeah.

i hate it how old boxers are put on such a high pedastol like they are unbeatable. thing is if people watch duran, they will see he is tailor made for pacs style, the version of pac that beat hatton, cotto, clottey and margarito will easily outclass and beat duran. Basically lets put it this way

Prime pac beats a prime duran imo, styles make fights and pac would land all day on him

pac has more better rounded abilities compared to Duran, Duran has more power, hits alot harder than Pac.

no, he fights good midrange. not good at body to body, and thats how Duran fought when he got close. every time Pacquiao is pressed up against the ropes he simply guards, he doesnt even attempt to fight


reading some of the posts in this thread, Im going to have to assume that a lot of you dont anything about Duran or his style.

It'd be an awesome fight, but I feel the speed would bother Duran greatly. That straight left would be Pacquiao's money punch and would break him down. Could Pacquiao get caught with one of those bricks and get knocked out? Hell yeah. No disrespect to Duran at all. He's one of the best no doubt. Just my opinion.
