This is the gayest ****ing excuse I have ever heard from a professional fighter, if this is what Povetkin is using to justify why he ducked his mandatory spot for 2+ years and $2.5 million payday (by far the highest of his career), then he should be ashamed of himself and just go ahead and retire and go back to the amateurs like he wanted.

Jab knows where I am, after checking the laws, killing an old, fat, bald man might wind my ass up in jail. That means no more ****ing sexy philipino chicks. Do you understand that? Why should I kill a man who has nothing to live for? Ill just let him die of whatever disease fat people die from. If he came here and i could argue self defense, yeah, ill kill him with my fists, but other than that, theres no point me going to jail for killing someone who for all intents and purposes is not even living, especially not spending my own hard earned money to go down there and do it. Povetkin might have a point, but even if he has a good excuse not to fight Klitschko he should go fight a top 10 fighter and beat him, thus winning some of the leverage that David Haye and to a lesser extent Tomasz Adamek have. You're going to get punked in the negotiations if you only fight punks beforehand, and that's pretty legit.

So now it's the contracts? I've figured this kid out. He is using other fighters ideas to duck Wlad Klitschko.


First he pulled a Mayweather and asked for Random Testing, now he is using David Haye's story. But how can this be true when he was the MANDATORY. I REPEAT, THE MANDATORY.

As a MANDATORY, he doesn't have to agree to anything that Klitschko wants of him. It can simply go to purse bid and he will receive the standard contract and money split. But like his trainer Teddy Atlas said, he pulled him out of the fight because he doesn't believe that he is ready. STOP LYING.

Exactly. I find it funny that many "boxing fans" here don't even now what being the mandatory challenger implies. They went to a purse bid, which Wlad's camp won by a big margin, so he has the right to stage the fight however he sees fit. Povetkin is a nobody.

They are not really boxing fans, just Klitschko haters. You have to be a complete dumbazz not to know what a mandatory is or how it works. The only way why you would even take what Povetkin is saying seriously is if you didn't know what a mandatory is or how the whole bid process works.
