Not only does Hatton lose, he probably dies.

Chavez was/is overrated. People will naturally say JC because of his legacy and the popular notion of past greats beating modern-day fighters. I think Hatton would beat him over 12, too fast a pace. Especially if you take the Hatton from the Tszyu fight.

Julio Cesar Chavez is one of the greatest fighters of the modern era - without question, the greatest pressure fighter of recent times. Not only did he beat his opposition,he completely violated them in some of the most violent and grotesque beatings seen in the sport's history.

You couldn't pick a more suitable opponent for Chavez to pick apart than a face first brawler like Hatton.I'm confident that even the Chavez of the first De La Hoya fight would have completely dissected and ripped Hatton apart.

I'm no Chavez fan, but what an insult to Chavez this topic is.

                    1. Chavez was prime at lightweight.
                    2. He still beats Hatton.
                    3. Hatton was better than people give him credit for.
                    4. It won't matter.
