He looked slow as hell when I saw him. Any of the top 140 lbers beat him easily at this point. Barrera probably has a little more left than Morales, but that aint saying much. His gut looks soft. His reflexes look slow.

also, like i said in a previous post but i think that it needs to be called out all over and around, BARRERA'S GLOVE WERE SKINNED TO ALL HELL......, those gloves might as well been loaded.


i'm a fan of barrera, he's one of my favorites, but he's done this before, but this time those gloves were ridiculous, the emblem of the glove was almost completely covered, making the padding in those gloves like a rock!

like i said, it is something that needs to be called out, best of luck to barrera on his campaign to win a title in a fourth division, one thing is for sure, when he gets closer to contention, they won't let him tape his gloves like that anymore.........

good win for barerra against average opposition, but what is his ultimate goal and motovation...don't see him doing much against the best in the division...he always comes to fight though...

Also a testament to Top Rank's match making. Golden Boy needs to step their game in this department and stop running their fighters through the meat grinder like their fighters come off an assembly line or something.
