Let's see ....

- Floyd needs to get over his legal issues.
- Floyd will need to come out of his long vacation.
- Floyd will probably ask to fight someone other than Manny, as a tune-up fight.
- Besides Arum, we need to get Floyd to say, "yes, I want to fight Manny too!"
- Floyd vs Manny negotiate.
- The fight is made for November.

Time will tell if it does get made for November!

It would probably happen if Floyd is willing to cut out GBP, Arum would have to work with Haymon which would be tough to swallow but he would be really getting GBP good.

That is why Arum is playing up the beef now, because Floyd really doesn't need GBP if Top Rank does the fight (why bring in more beaks if you don't have to). It is like the exact reverse of the situation when Floyd left Top Rank except Floyd wouldn't have to do a buy out.

I agree! I think Floyd Jr could make more money if he does a direct co-promotion with Top Rank than also bringing in GBP to get a piece of the pie. However GBP helped Mayweather before he fought JMM (guaranteed $10 million which would cover his IRS debt) so you gotta wonder how loyal he will be to them. Hopefully, the fight gets made but all the drama is tiresome and getting old now. In the meantime, I will look forward to the fights that should offer some fireworks (Donaire vs. Montiel, AA vs. Ward, Johnson vs. Froch and hopefully, Bradley vs. Khan)...
