The word surely and Mike Tyson should never go together. Tyson is such a petulant child in teh ring anything can happen. His performances in the second Holyfield fight, Frans Botha fight suggest he is a bully who will break the rules if things don`t go his way. He may well beat Williams in a rematch but Williams may beat Tyson ( why not, he did it before? ). I personally would love to watch Tyson lose to a total misfit like Kevin mcBride or Gerald Nobles. Then i`d sit and laugh at him and watch him cry. ha ha ha

He did his knee - i have no doubt. He started using his arms to balance the hooks from that poiunt on (right arm down low to anchor him when he threw the left hook).

I've had an injured left knee (torn meniscus) so I'm talking from experience.

Tyson was not fit for the Lewis fight, never gave himself a chance.

He was in much better condition for Etienne. At 38, he's done.

I think Mike did hurt his knee vs. Danny Williams and I really think he can beat him in a rematch but what then? He would have to beat another top ten heavyweight before he gets a title shot against one of the champs. At the rate of his last fights it wouldn't be until the summer of 2006. Mike has been one of my favorite fighters but he isn't getting any younger and time is not on his side.

oh yeah you could tell he hurt his knee in the first round by the way he buckled then in the 3th round he was walking very heavy and could barley move in the ring

                  2. How credible is the information that Tyson injured his leg? Was the injury serious?

                  3. Would Danny have beaten the Tyson that fought Lewis?

tyson was in better shape for williams than he was for lewis, so yes to the third question. the knee injury was genuine and it did hinder his movement a little, but he seemed to walk back to his dressing room ok. but tyson is 15 years past his prime, and even in his prime he was always a 4 round fighter. if you could get through those rounds he would'nt be nearly as powerful in the second part of the fight.
