    Duran being able to manipulate opponents on the inside was mostly due to his skill and use of body mechanics, not strength.

    I mean he was a strong guy guy and all, but he always had that trick of being able to turn opponents around on the rope and everything...the guy just knew what he was doing.


    hilarious whats his face used the Camacho fight as a comparison to Baldomir. thats one of the best displays of footwork youll ever see, being able to effectively walk someone down like that.

      that guy is one blinded fanboy.

      true what you say about body mechanics, but duran also had to hold off other fighters in higher weight classes. that takes strength.

      balance/mechanics>strength but you don't necessarily hae the choice if your opponent knows how to muscle you.
