SHOWTIME Has Been Great For Fight Sports

Tonight they're premiering their Super 6-like tournament for the Strikeforce HW division, which is arguably more stacked than even the UFC. And of course there's the actual Super 6 which is winding down soon. On top of that, the Bantam tourney is right around the corner.

With tournaments like this, the best are fighting the best to settle who is the top dog in their division. To be able to bring fighters, promoters, managers, and egos together like that and work out venues, revenues, etc is nothing short of remarkable.

On top of that, their partnership with Top Rank is the beginning of Boxing making its return to mainstream media, Pac-Mosley's Fight Camp 360 will be on CBS, Manny will be on 60 minutes again, etc.

All I have to say to the good people over at SHOWTIME/CBS is...

Showtime is stepping up. Let's hope they don't lose themselves in all this and keep putting on quality fights.
