Chamber should definetly move to CW

Haye woul never give him a title shot, he'll never beat Wlad IMO because his style is all wrong for him, and I don't know if he can beat Vitali, maybe since Vitali is older and slower now he could outpoint him, but that's a big maybe... In the CW division however he would dominate everyone and win titles easily (as long as he stays away from Huck because they would rob him blind like they did Lebedev).

And he's still pretty young, so he can go back up to HW when the Klitschkos retire, and since he'll have some titles under his belt he'll be a bigger name than he is now. Thoughts?

Makes sense from the point of view of winning titles and building a name. But the simple fact is that Heavyweight is where the money is.

I don't think he's making a lot of money fighting the Derric Rossys of this world.

No way. He might could make 175, but he'd be drained, weak, and ineffective. His frame is larger than Chris Byrd's, and we saw what happened to him when he tried LHW. I think Chambers has been in good shape since Dimitrenko, but he never looks it (like Juan Diaz).

Eddie is still a good Heavyweight, but he needs to go a different route than chasing a Wlad rematch.

Not a bad idea to be honest. He could most certainly do wonders at Cruiser and become fairly well known before moving back to heavy after the Klits retire. His opportunities at heavy are limited in terms of winnable or lucrative fights, unless he can somehow lure that incredible pussy Haye into the ring, but Arreolas would fly and the WBC headquarters freeze over before that happens.

Not a bad idea, all he needs to do is cut 9 pounds (he was 208 for Rossy) and then get it all back after the weigh-in. He can pick up a belt or two at CW and then comeback to the HWs when the Klitschkos are gone, or when a big money fight presents itself, he can switch back and forth between CW and HW easy.

But I would like to point out that Chambers is a legit HW who has no problems with fighters much bigger than himself. Just because he lost to an ATG Wlad doesn't mean that he is "too small" as some ignorant posters claim. Those posters need to look at his fights against Dimitrenko (who is bigger than Wlad and is Vitaly's size), where Dimitrenko was undefeated Olympic SHW gold medalist and Chambers schooled him, knocking him down several times (including knocking his mouth piece out with one shot) and visibly hurting him. Dimitrenko has not been the same afterwards, he just had a panic attack before the Sosnowksi fight.

Then take a look at his fight against Peter, a dangerous puncher and former HW champ, Chambers handled him easy and even took some shots from Peter. His only other loss was a close one to young undefeated Povetkin, also an Olympic SHW gold medalist. Not bad for a supposedly small guy with not such great power. Chambers is a legit HW, he reminds me of Byrd.

Agreed, he would be much better suited for Cruiserweight. doesnt even have to cut that much weight to get there, and he likely would be in better shape anyway.

although to be fair he would be top 5 at HW anyway, but if he wanted to be the best at a weightclass....

He should of moved there right after the Wlad fight. He is too damn small for the division and his skills would be much more effective at CW. He already can't crack an egg and to be in a division where he is undersized and needs to rely on power, he has none.

Read my earlier post in this thread, it applies to posters like you who think he is too small for the division. Have you seen the Dimitrenko or the Peter fight with Chambers?
