Too close to call. Hop isnt getting any younger, yet Tito did take some pretty clean shots in his comeback fight. 50/50 on this one, its a toss up.

How is it a toss up? Tito beat a limited mayora in his fight in October and now he is 50/50 against Nard? I would maybe be inclined to agree if the first fight was close but Tito was HAMMERED, HE WASN`T IN TEH FIGHT. Why on earth is he 50/50? Because of his power? His power didn`t budge Hopkins first time i don`t thinng k it will do teh job a 2nd time.
Claiming Tito is 50/50 in a rematch is like saying Hector Camacho Snr is 50/50 in a rematch Vs oscar De La Hoya! One sided beatings are one sided beatings. Why is it that Tito and Tyson fans have to cloud their judgement with their hearts rather than their heads? Exciting one punch power does not mean you are gonna win rematches, wait till Tito beats someone world class at middleweight, then you can big him up. If you wanna chat middleweights, lets talk about how Hopkins has dominated for 10 yrs!

The Only Way Trinidad Wins Is If Hopkins Ages Over Nights (which Is Known To Happen To Fighters Around His Age) However, There Has Been Absolutely Nothing That Has Happened In The Last Few Years In Either Ones Career That Would Make Me Think That Trinidad Has Any Better Chance Than He Did The First Time. Once You Get Beaten As Bad As He Did, It's Real Hard To Comeback Against The Same Fighter With The Confidence You Need. Unlike Holyfield , Who Just Kept Chipping Away Until He Got Bowe Again, I Don't Think Trinidad's Confidence Is As Resiliant As Evanders. I'm Still Not All Sure Why Tito Took Such A Long Time Off. That's Strange To Me. I Think Hopkins Is All In His Mind, And He Won't Ever Let Himself Be Mentally Prepared To Beat Hopkins. Hopkins Knocks Him Out, Or Convincing Decision. Trinidad Is Just Simply No Where Near The All Around Fighter That Hopkins Is. I Think This Should Be Obvious To Most Fight Fans.

agree 100% colonel. I think the real issue isn`t the Hopkins / Trinidad rematch it is more likely why are fans convinced Tito will win? It is sad to see that even the most informed fan is rooting for a guy who can punch and do not much else. These facts should bring them back to earth:

            1. Tito has been floored something like 10 times and stopped before, Nard has been floored something like three times and never stopped.

            2. The Oscar De La Hoya fight, most people feel Oscar won, no one argues with any of the Hopkins verdicts except the first Marcado fight because people thought Hopkins was robbed.

            3. In the middleweight division Trinidad is 3 - 1 - 0( 3 kos ) Hopkins is
            45 - 1 - 1 NC1 ( 32 kos ) at middleweight ( his first fight, a points loss was at crusierweight )

            4. Big powerful Tito couldn`t stop De La Hoya, Bernard did

So how is Tito gonna beat the p4p best? answer is he won`t and the only reason i`d wanna see a rematch is to finailly shut Tito`s fans up and bring the attention to the real champion, Hopkins!

Hopkins is kind of a mystery to me. Some fights He doesn't look that good to me at all. Then with Tito he looks amazing. Can he pull of another perfect fight? Thats the question. The only time Hopkins looked like the p4p best is when he faught Tito. I think if Tito changes his style up a little, It may be harder for Bernard to counter him. Im sure he wont fight Hopkins the same way he did the first time. I'll admitt, Hopkins doesn't really give me any reason to doubt him against Tito. But I just have a hunch that the rematch would be a lot closer. Hence the 50/50.

Okay first of all, some people post and have no knowledge of boxing whats so ever. I just finished watching the fight between Hop and Tito. Let me say this Hop circled beautiful always to his left, this was to disable the punching power of trinidad the left hook. Secondly alot of you guys make it seem as if the fight was a one sided fight. The fight was extremelly competive, Tito hit hop with some got punches, but do to the circling, the power wasnt effective. Third Trinidad followed and hunted Hopkins throughout the whole fight. All hop did was counter him. When hop tried to stand and would get hit, he would bail fast, which was smart. But why would A BIGGER guy whom is said to be a natural at this weight division ever move away. Why would he stay and fight or pound it out..
I copmpletely broke this fight down, taking notes, watching some rounds two or three times.I did this because of all the stuff I read on this forum regarding on how one sided this fight was, Trinidad never hit hopkins and so on, To my findings if Trinidad adjusted some stuff he would beat Hopkins. All he really had to do was pressure hopkins and not foloow him directly, throw punches in combos..
                enough said
Im so confident that if they had a rematch TiTO would win, Im not justifying this because Im a fan. Im not I just love the sport. I just saw to many upside to him in the fight.
Put it this way I have about $32,000 saved in my bank account from a refy of my house, If they ever have a rematch I will take Trinidad. If anyone on this board would like to bet. Pm me, we will exchange info and set up an account with a loan agent. Ill take Tito in a rematch

My heart tell me Tito and my head nard.I do give tito a chance,he had a lot of personal problems pre-fight that's why many fans want the rematch if he loose again it will be against the great nard, not shame on that .I think that a focus tito can beat hopkins in the rematch as well Mab has a chanse against the pac man,he got personal problems before the fight too.Even a 100% in shape great boxer is nothing if isn't focus.

i would pick bernard 9 out of 10 times if they fight.tito skills are no where as close as hopkins skills. de la hoya and hopkins made tito look like he was an amateur.Tito has trouble with people who use their legs.i want to see tito win against a true middleweight than i might give him more of a chance of beating hopkins
