Also JCC was not prime when he fought Whitaker. When u study his fights u see him not being able to fight as hard for as long when he fought Pea and The Surgeon.
Absolutely right, Whitaker got the better of the in-fighting and this isn't a prime JCC were stalking about the WW version against Floyd.

      Didnt he stop Jesus.

You mean the left hook that took forever to get there. He didnt land huge left hooks against the cream of the crop. I think all of our underlying arguing relates to whether Floyd is the best fighter JCC or Trinidad has faced and I say yes he is.

on the flip side, jcc would be BY FAR the best fighter floyd ever faced.

            • Tito had dynamic power in both hands, wasn't the fastest but wasn't slow either, had a good jab, wasn't a defensive genius but could slip a punches well, Tito skills get underrated. JCC skills get vastly underrated as well...People think flashiness equals skills and that's not the case. That is why some people think Oscar De la Hoya had more skills than JCC when he didn't and wasn't even close to it.

At 147 Tito has a better chance than JCC does at 147.

But, JCC has a better chance at 135 and 140 than Tito has at 147.

I think Floyd could really easily outbox JCC at 130 and 147.

But, at 135 and 140 Floyd would have his hands full with JCC and I would personally give the edge to JCC. I think he breaks Floyd down. I LOL'd at somebody putting the Baldomir comparison to make their case of Floyd would beat JCC.

At 147 I think Tito-Floyd is a 50-50...Floyd doesn't really let his hands go, pot shots a lot, but also got tagged at 147 you just can't get hit by Tito. Not only is he a dynamic puncher both hands but very accurate and a very good finisher. Better than Judah and Mosley.

At 154 I don't see Floyd beating Tito at all.

But, with Tito is weird because is not fair to Floyd. That is Tito first weight-class while it's Floyd 4th weight-class.

But, Floyd could still win but to say he toys or outboxes their ear off easily and all that crap is ridiculous. Floyd hasn't shown anything in those weight-classes against high caliber opponents that could make anybody say he would toy with either one.

That is where Floyd and his skills get vastly overrated. Because, even if he wins it won't be easy.

again I see chavez getting outboxed quite easily...I had the 1st castillio bout a draw (with mayweather having a torn rotator cup) & the 2nd one a comfortable UD.

i just see chavez getting outboxed, frustrated, & beaten....

                sorry bro.
Mayweather Sr taught the style to both Jr and Roger. All three of them had similiar defensive styles. Roger and Sr both developed Jr's defense. The fact you say theres no simularity is alarmingly dumb

Dont throw Im not a Chavez fan in to mask the hate. Chavez would be lucky to make it look like the Baldomir fight. He was slow and stalked too. Compubox would have had a new record for connect percentage.
obviously that video is of Roger, I was showing how Roger could effetively use a similiar style to Jr. and he only changed that style up late in his career. during one of his best winning streaks at 140lbs he kept that style, and even was nicknamed the 'Mexican Assassin' for a while since he did so well against Mexican styles.

simply laughable. Lucky to make it look like the Baldomir fight? Chavez was multiple times better than Baldomir. He was one of the best ever at effectively and efficiently cutting off the ring, this wasnt stalking.

I know Im debating with two blinded Mayweather fans here, but yall could at least attempt to make well informed arguments. If Floyd couldnt keep Castillo off of him, theres no way he could do so with Chavez. If Floyd coldnt deal with all of Castillo's body shots and infighting, theres no way he could have done so with Chavez.

would JCC or Trinidad be the best fighter Floyd had ever faced?
                Absolutlely yes.

Trinidad was a beast in a welterweight..the best Welter Floyd ever fought was a 38 yr old Mosley.
this is sooooo true. you forgot coming off a 16 month layoff

                  • Seriously to compare JCC and Baldomir just shows the ******ity that runs in this forum.

I don't know what gam(e) you're a student of. But, start studying boxing son...You're embarrassing yourself with idiotic comparisons.
