Vernon Forest , and the Klitscko bro's are legitmately world class human beings

I had to comment on Vernon Forrest. I remeber seeing him against somebody on hbo in 2002 running to the ring seeing a group of "mentally impaired folks" with him. They were all black, white and hispanic. I just read that he is helping the people of New Orleans. He is really a great man. Because with him its sincere. What is beautiful is that he just doesnt help black people like a lot of black athletes or an athlete of a certain race helps only their race. He cares for all races=people. Because race doesnt really exist, it denotes something biologically different, and besides the level of pigment in our superficial skin we all have the same plumbing. The klitskos as well, all people=russians, africans,= whatever child needs help.

Sorry if this came off as sappy and lame but I was touched by forrest and his actions. Plus he isnt guy who wants the attention. Klit boys as well are great humanitarians.

PROPS to Steve Mcnair as well- one of the only super wealthy lousianans who donated tons of money and trucks to help the people floating around in that cesspool new orleans.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was the second fight with Mosley, I could be wrong though. He seems like a good guy, it's a shame that he has to alter his style because of his injuries-man was he ever a talent, I don't think he will ever be the same.

Just makes u think all this race arguement is lame. Its cool to pull for a fighter of your own race. But dont degrade any other race or group. Lame.
We are all the same. Look at New Orleans, its black, white- all poor that are suffering and causing crime. Not a certain group.

i was about to post on this myself after reading this article, i've never been a bigger Vernon Forrest fan:

Former welterweight champion Vernon Forrest is funding housing in Atlanta, Georgia for five New Orleans families left homeless in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. On a September 1st telethon presented by Atlanta radio station V103FM, Forrest donated over $6000 that will provide month long stays for the families at the Amerisuites Hotel in Atlanta. In another act of generosity, Forrest learned that the mother in one of the families suffered from high blood pressure and was in urgent need of assistance. He personally escorted her to a nearby drugstore and kindly covered the cost. The following day, Forrest participated in a live telethon WAGA-FOX5 telethon that helped raise more than $5.5 million dollars for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. "As Americans we should all feel compelled to help as able," said Forrest. "I strongly encourage my fellow boxers and the entire boxing community to recognize their potential in aiding the Hurricane relief efforts. The people really need our assistance."

All three are great people with amazing boxing skills, but only one of them isn't a big wuss, and his name is Vitali.
